Liehs and Steigerwald was established in 1936 by two German immigrants. Since that time, we have been providing top quality sausage, fresh meats (Beef, Pork, Chicken, Lamb, and Veal), and various imported items in the Central New York region.
There are over 35 types of fresh and smoked sausages made at Liehs and Steigerwald.
The Sausages we make today use the original recipes that have been passed down from one generation to the next. Our success is dependant on customer satisfaction, and that is why we use top quality cuts of meat in all our products. Our Homemade Sausages contain only quality meats and spices. The meat is ground, chopped and stuffed into all natural casings, then smoked using old fashion smoke houses and hardwood. There are NO fillers, additives, or cereals in any of our Homemade products.
